The role
Reporting to the Head of Insight, key responsibilities of this role will include;

  • Input into the Commercial and NPD strategy
  • Drive category plans from proposal through to implementation
  • Market research activity for the categories
  • Drive merchandising and in-store space planning activity
  • Competitor and macro-trend analysis

The successful applicant
To be successful in the role, you will have the following required skills, experience, knowledge and qualifications;

  • A degree level qualification, or equivalent, preferably in a marketing or business related subject
  • Marketing experience in either a FMCG manufacturer or major grocery retailer
  • Advanced category management skills and a demonstrable track record
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.  Knowledge of TNS, AC Nielson and Dunnhumby
  • The ability to prioritise your workload, meet challenging deadlines and work flexibly to meet business needs
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Full driving licence
