International Commercial Brand Manager / Food / London / £75k + package.

Our client is a successful food business. They are a growing business who have already established themselves as the ;#1 in their specialist product category.

They are looking to add some talent to their commercial team.

The Role

The primary purpose of the role will be to extend the markets which we sell our branded ambient food products, in conjunction with the strategic partner The successful candidate would need to conduct market research to evaluate the opportunities in the global market place, source the right distribution partner and ultimately deliver an ambitious sales budget. 

Once markets are established the role is to manage the distribution partner, agree budgets, drive sales plans and manage promotions. A key part of the role is to foster and maintain a positive working relationship with the UK based partner brand team.

Key Personal Attributes & Knowledge

• A credible and influential commercial business development professional
• Experience in international sales and marketing of branded products via distribution partners
• Evaluating and building sales in new territories or markets
• Control and management of sales and marketing budgets
• Export sales
• Marketing and promotion mechanics in international sales
• Working knowledge of the contractual implications of Licenced products
• Building long term and sustainable partnerships with brand owners and distributors
