Fantastic role working for a ambitious family run organisation who specialise in manufacturing or transforming fresh product into food we know and love. The role will be very hands on with Key Clients.

My client are a family run business who have been trading for over 60 years. They have lots of accolades to be proud of, including fresh producer of the year award and Land based business of the year.
The organisation has over 100 staff within multiple functions including Manufacturing, Sales, Marketing and Product Design.
Description
The National Account Manager will be tasked working with the Sales Director to help the company hits its 2020 vision. You will work closely with underperforming and tier 2 accounts to develop strategies, growth plans and increase product lines. The growth opportunities are vast within these accounts, this is why they need specialist service. Other responsibilities will include:
- New Business and Account Management
- Working with Accounts such as : Brakes, Premier Foods, McDonalds, Greencore to name a few.
- Profit and Loss management
- Working with Key Stakeholders (including Product design, supply chain and Finance)
- Joint Business Plan strategies.
- Home based role - 1/2 days PW in the office.
Profile
Candidate will need to hit the ground running, this is why my client will be specific on the requirements and credentials candidates have got.
Applicants will need to have experience working for or with some of the key food manufacturers (E.G.Greencore, Premier, Kerry) and distributors within the UK. You need to be able to demonstrate a understanding of the food service/ ingredients supply chain processes, with experience of winning tenders and bids.
Job Offer
The role is paying between - £35-40k Plus Car Allowance with a competitive bonus.
