Head of Sales role, focusing on the Consumer Channel across the UK and Europe. Report direct to the MD.

Client Details

My client owned by a multibillion turnover organisation, the local business focuses on B2B and Consumer markets across the UK and Europe. The business has recently gone through an acquisition, which has helped free up investment into the organisation.

Description

The role of the Head of Sales will be to work closely with the MD and Global VP to help direct the 3-5 year strategy plans. You will have 2 direct reports with indirect reports below, all focusing on the consumer retail and etail channels across the UK and Pan Europe. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead on the front, you will be kept close with main line accounts such as:
  • DGSi
  • Amazon
  • Maplin




This role will give the successful candidate exposure to being a Sales lead whilst maintaining contact with C levelled contacts at Key retailers.

Profile

My client is looking to invest in the long term for the successful candidate, the future paths to SD, commercial director and above should be very exciting. Applicants will need to demonstrate the following:
  • Clear understanding of the Consumer Electronics markets
  • Has existing relationships with key CE retailers (DSGi, Amazon, Tesco and Maplin)
  • Is able to show business growth with new and established relationships.
  • Has worked with new products or categories.
  • Leadership experience within a National Account team.
  • Based within 1 hour commute to North Surrey HQ
  • Degree Educated
