Job Details
From day one as the Category Marketing Graduate you will be contributing to the Marketing function. You will receive a detailed three month induction, which will cover the following areas:
An introduction to Rich products, history and future plans
- Category insight - What is Rich's position in the sweet bakery market place?
- Project management tools - C2L is the internal concept to launch, critical path
- Visit all UK manufacturing sites and gain a full understanding of Rich's unique capabilities/technologies
- Exposure to a number of different product platforms and customers
- Market Insight - you will be introduced to the companies full market insight library
Your day to day role as Category Marketing Graduate will involve:
- Analysing market insight reports and turning them into snap shot monthly presentations
- Collating industry and competitor news monitoring and interpreting sales
- Monitoring and interpreting sales data, and categories and collating information on the market place
- Collating consumer food trend information
- Managing data coding files and the market insight directory
- Creating presentations for customers and a social media presence for Rich's
- On completion of the graduate programme the individual will be competent to hold a Category Manager position
Category Marketing Graduate - Person Specification
- Ability to understand and interpret market intelligence
- Strong Excel skills to be able to analyse sales data
- Strong presentation skills
- Organised with excellent attention to detail
