National Account Manager – Top 4 Grocery

An exciting opportunity has become available for an Account Manager to join a market leading food manufacturer. This vibrant company has a portfolio of some of the most well-known household brands. This role will be looking after a Top 4 account – likely to be ASDA.

The key responsibilities and duties will include the following:

• Manage the account P & L.
• Manage trading terms agreements.
• Effectively and efficiently undertake appropriate administration, budgeting, monitoring, reporting, communication and liaison activities.
• Develop and deliver an annual strategic account/channel plan that reflects the customer and brand objectives.
• To plan and implement promotional plans.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in Sales on a Top 4 Account. Account Management experience on another account outside the top 4 will be considered for an outstanding individual. A talented buyer looking to move on the sales side would also be suitable.

As the successful candidate, you must have the following:

• At least 3 years FMCG sales/buying experience.
• Excellent communication, influencing and networking skills.
• Strong literacy and financial skills including numerical analysis and the ability to access a wide range of data.
• Well-developed negotiation, presentation and persuasive selling skills.
• Strong time management including planning & organising.
