An exciting new opportunity has arisen within a well-known international drinks business. They have an incredibly diverse portfolio of brands across a number of drinks categories including premium spirits, Scotch whisky and beer and are well established both in the UK and internationally. Due to their recent successes and growth as a business they now require a new International Sales and Marketing Manager to support the Travel Retail Director across the Global Travel Retail channel.

Working very closely with the Travel Retail Director you will be responsible for taking on a portfolio of accounts from the Duty Free and Travel Retail sectors. These will include customers such as Heinemann, Dufry and Royal Duty Free but will not necessarily be limited to this. You will have P&L responsibility for your account base and be tasked with increasing the profitability of the accounts whilst also improving the market share of your brands and gaining new listings. Acting as a brand ambassador for the business you will attend key events and trade shows to promote brand awareness as well as working very closely with brand and marketing teams on promotional plans.

To be considered for this exciting opportunity you will need to have experience managing accounts in the Travel Retail sector. It is essential that you understand this channel of business and are capable of confidently representing and educating the customer base on the company’s brands. Ideally you will come from a spirits background but candidates with experience in the Travel Retail channel from other product backgrounds will also be considered. Approximately one third of your time will be spent travelling internationally so it is essential that your lifestyle and personal circumstances can accommodate this. The ability to speak multiple languages will also be a huge benefit in this position. You will need to be capable of working autonomously and making commercial decisions with conviction in order to be a success in this position.
