Commercial Manager - Fresh Produce

Due to continued growth a great opportunity has arisen to join the commercial team of a successful and expanding family owned fresh produce business that grow, harvest, pack and transport their own produce absolutely guaranteeing quality and freshness.

Our client specialises in high end salad crops and vegetables and fruit and supplying to the major retailers along with wholesale and independent accounts throughout the UK and as a result of continued expansion they are now looking to strengthen their team by hiring another Commercial Manager.

In this newly created Commercial Manager role you will support the Commercial Director within this exciting, fast paced and growing business to deliver the overall business strategy supporting the development of their Retail customers and driving profitable growth. 

Key responsibilities will include:

 - P&L Responsibility

 - Development of growth-focused category presentations, identifying opportunities for both the customer and the business

 - Using category insight to strategically increase trading relationships with Retail customers

 - Build credibility with existing accounts and generate new business opportunities.

 - Development and then successful execution of customer focused joint business plans.

 - Building excellent working relationships with the customer, ensuring opportunities and threats are highlighted as soon as possible
