A highly exciting opportunity has become available for a National Wholesale Account Controller, working for one of the most forward thinking spirits businesses in the UK. The company boasts a large eclectic portfolio of both premium and mainstream brands and works with a variety of accounts in both the on and off trade channels.
Role
The National Account Controller is responsible for the delivery of the sales objectives for the assigned brands across allocated On Trade accounts and will manage a portfolio of national and regional accounts, as well as a direct report. They will negotiate annual agreements with on trade chains, ensuring the cost of doing business is within budget, whilst maximising short and medium term brand health. They will work closely with UK Sales Director to identify opportunities for ongoing and sustainable growth in designated accounts and achieve new listings in line with the commercial strategy and plan.
Person
You will need experience working as a highly successful National Account Manager in the drinks industry, with extensive experience of the workings of the Wholesale channel and an understanding of the competitor set. You will possess excellent commercial acumen, with good negotiation, risk management and conflict management skills and the ability to analyse and interpret data to form strategic recommendations. With the nature of the business comes a need for this individual to enjoy a dynamic and changing environment.
