An exciting opportunity has arisen within one of the world’s leading distillers of fine Scotch whisky. They have an incredibly strong portfolio of brands both in premium spirits and more mainstream, household names and have great presence in the UK and internationally. Not only this but they also distil liquids for a number of high profile retail outlets and offer a bespoke private label service alongside their branded portfolio. With a number of new brands and acquisitions that they are looking to grow they now require a new National Account Manager to head up their Convenience & Wholesale account base.

Reporting directly to the Managing Director you will be responsible for a portfolio of accounts ranging from Symbol Groups to National Wholesalers. The accounts you inherit will depend largely on your experience coming into the position but will consist of customers such as NISA, Bestway and Booker. You will have P&L responsibility over this account base and be responsible for driving additional listings and volume into these customers and ultimately increase the gross profit generated. You will take part in all head office negotiations and joint business planning and form part of a small but dynamic national accounts team.

In order to be considered for this brilliant opportunity you will need experience selling alcohol into the Convenience or Wholesale channels. You could either be a talented key account manager looking to make that next step into larger national accounts or an experienced national account manager looking to take on more responsibility in a smaller, more entrepreneurial business. In order to be successful in this position you will need to be hungry and tenacious with the ability to operate autonomously and make important commercial decisions. This is an exciting position offering great potential for future progression.
