Fresh Produce National Account Manager (NAE looking to step up)

East Anglia

Up to 40,000 + package

This is an exciting opportunity to work for an FMCG market leader that has dominated the fresh produce sector for over 20 years. They place a huge amount of emphasis on their company values and the implementation of these values has excelled their growth dramatically. By being open minded and very pro-active in the way the implement change, they have maintained their position as a major global player within fresh foods. With recent growth across their grocery accounts and internal movements they are looking for an ambitious National Account Manager to join their team.

Your role will be to account manage a top 4 account across the salads, vegetables and top fruit categories. You will be expected to develop a good relationship with the buyers. You will be fully responsible for the day to day running of the account and will be totally P&L responsible for the business. You will track sales including new products and promotions against forecast and recommend action to meet or exceed targets.

The successful candidate will have recent grocery/Top 4 experience at head office level as well as being P&L responsible for the account. Experience within fresh produce or chilled food would be preferred and would be an advantage but strong FMCG candidates from other backgrounds will be considered. This is an excellent opportunity for up and coming National Account Eecutives or Jr NAM's looking to take the step into National Account Management.

Excellent communication skills are essential for the role and you must be able to interpret data effectively. This is a company where people can progress very quickly. They pride themselves on employee development and would expect you to progress through the business within 12 - 18 months, a great opportunity for ambitious National Account professionals interested in developing their careers and skills or looking for the next step up in their career.
