Exsurgo are proud to support this convenience retailer whilst they embark on growing their footprint within the UK market.

You will be responsible for executing the sourcing and selection strategy for the BWS category. You will own and support the delivery of key target KPIs in line with the company strategy and achieve optimum cost and margin through effective negotiation, supplier management and identification of the most effective sourcing routes.

The role:
- Deliver a customer facing offer balancing range, price and promotion
- Execute the sourcing and selection strategy for your range of products
- Negotiate optimum product cost with suppliers
- Identify most cost effective sourcing routes into the stores
- Implement Pricing, Promotional & Ranging strategies as agreed by the Business Strategy
- Know and understand the relevant retail market and the category performance within that
- Work closely with Supply Chain and Retail colleagues to drive the product range
- Proactively liaise with the Category Manager to identify future commercial opportunities
- Support the implementation of NPD
- Regularly review own label products against their appropriate competitor benchmarks
- Engage and influence key senior stakeholders
