What the job entails:
The successful Shopper Marketing Manager will be responsible for the creation and delivery of the Shopper Marketing Strategy and activation plans across Retailers, Standalone Stores, and Hotel & Spa’s. The activation plans could include POS, store windows, loyalty mailings, magazine ads, online presence, incentives such as gift with purchase, store ambassador programs, product trial initiatives, launch programs etc. As the Shopper Marketing Manager you will work closely with the sales team to ensure all overall strategies are tailored to achieve best results with individual key customers. You will have an expert knowledge of the target shoppers behaviours as well as an understanding of the retail environment. As the successful candidate you will be expected to build retailer specific plans, aligned to the company commercial and brand objectives.

The successful Shopper Marketing Manager will have:

    • Track record within Shopper/Trade/Customer marketing within an FMCG company
    • Previous success working with major retailers. Ideally department stores
    • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
    • Previous track record in delivering best in class shopper marketing campaigns
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Not afraid to challenge
    • Interest in wellbeing and luxury brands
    • Great creative eye
    • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
    • P&L management understanding and analytical ability
