Brand Marketing Manager – Nordics

SharkNinja is looking for a talented Brand Manager with previous experience working in Nordic territories to work on one of their pillar brands Ninja®, The key focus for the role is to establish and develop the brand in the Nordics by adapting UK brand messaging to be in line with the market landscape and consumer behavior in territory.

Job Description

The Brand Manager is responsible for the implementation the overall Brand strategy across the Nordic region resulting in growth of the Brand(s).

Duties

  • To understand and manage all aspects of the brand(s).
  • Implementation of the current strategy and brand message(s) to result in increased sales, brand loyalty and increased market share (metrics to follow).
  • Using localised knowledge, (consumer behaviour, competitor analysis, trends, retailer guidelines) highlight areas of weaknesses or conflicting messages and identify any areas of opportunity.
  • Regular audits, ensure all marketing and activities are aligned with the mission, vision, motivation (overall ethos and goals of the organisation and brand(s).
  • Sourcing and developing relationships with local suppliers
  • Championing the brand internally making sure all elements of the company understand the brand and its goals.
  • Working closely with all parts of the company to ensure commercial goals of the brand are met.
  • Developing and sustaining strong working relationships with all stakeholders, both internal and external. Primary internal stakeholders include: International Sales Function, Product Marketing, Brand Marketing and International Communications Team.
  • Communicating relevant marketing materials that align correctly with the overall brand strategy.
  • Managing external agencies and ensuring marketing budgets are met- Use of internal PO system.
  • Seek out new opportunities that fit with the brand and maximising all opportunities for growth.
  • Ability to take on additional duties, roles and responsibilities as the business requires.

Essential Criteria

  • Previous experience working as a Brand Manager, not necessarily within a similar industry.
  • You will have hands on commercial experience
  • Be driven and passionate in your approach to marketing.
  • Proven ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Experience of the full marketing mix is essential.
  • The ability to manage multiple Projects and tasks.
  • Be willing to undertake regular International travel.
  • Speak one (or more) of the following languages
