The Role - Overview

The Marketing Administrator / Support is an entry level Marketing Position. Working primarily with the Marketing Team, design agencies, PR companies, printers and other related vendors to assist in the creation and production of consistently high impact collateral, content and promotional materials, taking direction from the Director of Marketing and Brand Marketing Managers. 

This position will also work to provide effective communications to internal and external audiences, including employees, investors, retailers and consumers alike. 

This position will be responsible for administrative support for a busy Brand Marketing Department. Championing the brand at every opportunity, guaranteeing the iteration of and consistent representation of the brand (both voice and visual identity) through all media, print and digital / Web.

This position will play an integral part in the Marketing Team to ensure efficiency and consistency in the day to day running of the department. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to: (Other duties may be assigned)

  • Facilitate document control processes / procedures
  • Seek out competitive quotations for departmental production 
  • Manage all purchase order generation and approval for department
  • Assist with delivery of Marketing and associated communications in line with overall goals and objectives of Shark/Ninja.
  • Collaborate and assist Sales efforts by creating useful information and materials to enhance performance of Shark and Ninja Sales.
  • Complete tasks within allocated budget, time, to agreed processes, always with maximum efficiency.
  • Analyse effectiveness of tasks and report metrics as required.
  • Work within a team and with external Agencies to produce materials within brand.
  • Point of contact for content, supply to both internal and retailers direct
  • Maintain website content  including direct and retailer websites, Social Media platforms
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty. Always striving to ensure 5 star performance and service delivery.

Key Skills and Attributes

  • Strong administration skills including proficient in use of office-relevant PC skills including Microsoft Office Suite, must include excel, word and PowerPoint. Understanding of Adobe creative suite desirable not essential.
  • 'Can do’ approach to tasks and projects
  • Print, web and copy writing ability.
  • Strong proofing skills.
  • Time management prowess and adherence to deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt to change.

Qualifications, Education and/or Experience

  • Candidates should have experience in an Administrative role in a fast paced environment and be looking to progress in a career in Marketing.  
  • Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications or related field is desirable, but not essential.
