Better Placed Recruitment are partnering with a well-recognised, international food manufacturer based in Yorkshire who are currently searching for a Senior National Account Manager on an interim basis (3 months) for their grocery sales function.
Following a unique business model, our client specialises in branded and own label food production across multiples sites in the UK. Operating within numerous product categories, they offer high quality, innovative food solutions to retail and foodservice channels alike.
Reporting into the Business Unit Controller you will be responsible for:
- Full p&l responsibility for ASDA account
- Implementing JBP's with customer to capitalise on sales growth
- Maintaining sustainable customer relationships
- Driving NPD and innovation
- Communicating cross functionally to deliver the overall business strategy
- All daily contact with the customer including attending regular face-to-face meetings
- Identifying new business ideas and recommending actions to improve margin
The candidate:
- Experience managing ASDA is compulsory
- Both private label and branded knowledge would be advantageous
- Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills
- Capability to work autonomously and make decisions
- Strong numeracy and IT skills
- 'Can do' attitude
- Commutable to East Yorkshire
