Field Product Specialist

The Company:

Job Description:

As Field Product Specialist you will travel nationally to various sites to promote one of the companies brands which in a hybrid role which encompasses traditional selling in a field role as well as a hands on demonstrating position. There will be occasional European travel and this role will predominantly focus on garden machinery dealers and garden centres as well as looking at any DIY outlets where the products could be stocked. You will develop a thorough understanding of potential competitor products and provide market intelligence/feedback that you gain while out on the road.

The Person:

The ideal person for this Field Product Specialist role will come from the Power Tools or Garden Tools sector so you will have a natural affinity with the product range. You will be used to selling into garden centres and garden machinery dealers or into similar DIY outlets. You will also be a hands on seller and not afraid to pick up a product and demonstrate how it works to customers. There will be a lot of travel with this role as it is covering the whole of the UK and occasionally there will be travel in Europe so the flexibility to stay away from home during the week is essential.

The Benefits:

As well as a basic of £25,000 - £32,000 there is also a company vehicle (this will be a van so you will need to be over the age of 25 with a clean driving license for insurance purposes) + 10% bonus + 10% pension contribution + private healthcare + life insurance
