The Aqua Sphere brand is owned by Aqua Lung international and distributed here in the UK by their UK affiliate company Apeks Marine Equipment ltd. It is an exciting time for the brand, having just lauched our Michael Phelps brand of swimwear.

Reporting to the UK Sales Manager the aim of this role is to:

• To maximise regional sales in the specified regions

 

• Field sales management of the Independent retail & leisure trade

 

• To ensure the right mix of brand presence instore / online to facilitate maximum sell through

 

• To provide existing account base with appropriate call coverage, balancing forward order    business with the on -going replenishment order in line with seasonal peaks.

 

•  New business opportunities relative to the company brand’s ethos.

 

MAIN DUTIES:

 

•  To fully manage existing accounts with appropriate call coverage and mix of forward order business with the on -going order replenishment

 

•  Achievement of quarterly and annual sales and distribution goals set by Sales Manager

 

•. Identification and opening of new business where applicable

 

•  Efficient journey planning to identify, Manage and develop the South West independent retail and leisure accounts

 

•Delivery of on-site / in-store product and Point Of Sale training

 

Person Specification

 

  • 3 years minimum experience in managing and developing a sales territory

• In depth knowledge and understanding of sales processes, mechanisms and tools to sell.

 

• Professional background in sports or outdoor industry

 

•  High business acumen across all areas

 

• Thorough in planning and preparation as well as outstanding presentation / sales skills

 

• Relationship-building and interpersonal skills

 

• Customer value orientation

 

• Fluent in the English language
