With over 60 years’ experience within the Personal Care sector across the Atlantic, my client is a rapidly growing business that plans to develop further across areas of Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Currently turning over $400 million, they are a business at the forefront in creating and distributing hair care products across the market place. In the short space of time that my client has been trading across the UK, they have developed exceptionally quickly from their initial stages. Grown from nothing to a turnover in excess of $22 million, delivering 25% growth on last year, they are a business that are going places. Targeted towards the mass market, the business has the fastest growing brand in the category they operate, having really great products that have ingredients that are all functional.
As a result of this continued growth, the business is creating a new position to meet the existing demands of the consumer. You will work on a top account for the business, most likely managing Superdrug, Sainsbury’s and Waitrose. Reporting directly into the Managing Director, this is a hands on role where you will be able to put your input into a business that has fantastic plans to move forward. Within this role you will be working on the existing account base, managing sales and distribution, exceeding profit targets and continuing the success.
It is essential that you have prior experience working in a similar industry, hair care being preferred. The successful candidate must have some prior knowledge and understanding of the market place and be able to assess the brands performance against its competitors. It is desirable that you have past experience working on either a top-4 grocery multiple or high street account.
