This organisation is a leading global FMCG food manufacturing business with a portfolio of branded products that you are sure to have bought and eaten. We are now searching for a Global Marketing Manager to join their International Brand team that is based in West London and be responsible for their largest brand portfolio. With a specific focus on emerging markets (Africa, Middle East and Asia) and with a strong marketing background you will need to demonstrate a good grounding in local markets. You will need to create a strategy that brings the local teams along with you. Initially, you may need to do a reasonable amount of travel although this is anticipated to settle to around 10% once you have learnt the business, teams and market.

This is a highly visible Global Marketing role that requires a high level of impact in both personal style and within the business. The role has the opportunity to impact multiple areas of the business by driving business results through multiple markets. With this is mind, we are looking for a Senior Brand Manager who is looking to step up into a larger role or you may already be a Marketing Manager looking to take on a global remit within emerging markets. This is an exciting opportunity for someone to gain a huge amount of experience at a global level.

The Role:

  • Input into the brand vision and strategy ensuring regional relevance and alignment with the Marketing Director and regional General Managers.
  • Work closely with the innovation managers in the UK to enable the global launch of established and relevant UK projects and ensure that they are relevant in the international markets.
  • Define, deploy and position brand strategy using local insights to build the positioning.
  • Build a profitable innovation strategy and pipeline that exceeds local market needs.
  • Support the implementation and development of the three year brand plan process.
  • A focus on local consumer insight to unlock growth.
  • Measure and evaluation the launch plans to drive increased effectiveness in ROI.

The Requirements:

  • Experience at Senior Brand Manager or Marketing Manager level from within a food manufacturing environment.
  • Prior experience of working within different geographies and able to build collaborative relationships across the globe.
  • Management of a P & L.
  • Experience in concept development and propositioning.
  • Able to lead and inspire country based Marketers.
  • Knowledge of retail insight, both modern and traditional.
  • Excellent project management skills and a strong communicator.
