The Essential Drinks Company is the business to business arm of international spirits group Quintessential brands renowned for its portfolio of leading brands including Greenalls, Opihr, Bloom and Berkeley Square gins as well as a host of exciting new and niche brands and other spirits.

With a range of product awards under its belt, significant investment in UK and international manufacturing and warehousing infrastucture together with marketing and brand development, Essential Drinks is a company focused on significant future growth. To help achieve this they are now looking to recruit an outstanding commercial manager.

Reporting to the highly experienced Sales Director, your role will be to take P+L responsibility for a range of leading Grocery Multiple and Impulse accounts to grow both volume and profits for a range of branded and own-label spirits and seek out new business opportunities for these – a chance to really make a difference.

You’ll need good negotiation, communication and presentation skills allied to a well-developed cross-functional team-playing approach and a good grasp of developing and implementing Joint Business Plans with real care and creative flair.

We’re looking for a graduate calibre individual with a track record of commercial results delivery working at NAM level in either a food or drink business selling branded or brand and own label products, directly managing any of the top 4 Grocer Retail Multiple accounts. Strong interpersonal skills, category and customer marketing experience and good all-round commercial awareness, are essential to this role.
