HEAD OF MARKETING

Our client is a dynamic and fast growing nutrition brand providing ‘Best in Class’ industry leading supplements on the market.

The company continue to create the most innovative products on the market, with an unrivaled product range and genuinely unique brand.

This is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated Head of Marketing to join the rapidly expanding, creative and entrepreneurial team.

This newly created opportunity as Head of Marketing is a multifaceted, strategic role and will play crucial role in the business growth.

The role will encompass leading the PPC campaign for the business as well as developing the external marketing streams through print and digital media.

The objective is to position the brand and services appropriately most effectively within the market.

The chosen candidate will be ready to hit the ground running and will be used to working in a fast faced “start up” environment where they have proven success of developing advertising campaigns and concepts as well as strategic marketing that will see significant traffic driven through the website.

Development of relevant social media platforms will be required in order to lead the social media strategy moving forwards.

A critical success factor of this role will involve the management of numerous high profile relationships including a key relationship with a leading industry specific magazine which has facilitated the development of the brand in terms of market presence.  

Other day to day activities of the role will include analysing traffic thought the site, tracking the activity, visits, conversation rates, paid search to optimise the number of people through the site.

The role will also encompass leadership and the management of the digital marketing team.

With regard to progression and development this role is fundamentally led by the individual and there are huge progression opportunities for the right candidate.

The business is backed by a multibillion pound business and with the success over the last year is on track to becoming a 30-40 million T/O business over the next 5 years.

Essential Requirements:

  • PPC Experience
  • Strong experience in a marketing role (Print media, Digital media)
  • Experience working with various agencies including – SEO, Digital Creative, Paid Search, Print Media
  • Experience with Social media & devising strategies to drive traffic via relevant channels
  • A strong strategic and creative mind set with proving success in driving consumer acquisition and finding new avenues for driving brand revenue and visibility
  • A strong knowledge of all marketing channels with focus on social media, PPC and SEO
  • Strong organisational skills and keen attention to detail
  • Excellent Team Player
  • Ability to think outside the box

Desirable Requirements:

  • Experience working within a fast paced e-commerce business type environment
  • Demonstration of key external relationships 
  • Person specification - Organised, driven, knows what is required to take a start-up business to the next level
