Senior Brand Manager – Innovation – 9 month FTC – Global Food Manufacturing.

Are you an Innovation Senior Brand Manager who is looking for a 9 month Fixed Term Contract? I have an immediate requirement for an interim Senior Brand Manager to join a business who has the market leading brands in its categories.

As the Innovation Senior Brand Manager you will lead the Innovation agenda for a particular sector of the portfolio. This business has ambitious growth targets over the next few years and innovation has been identified as a key driver for this.

Reporting to the Innovation Controller, you will be accountable for defining, testing and executing new growth layers for the portfolio across all elements of the marketing mix. You will lead the innovation strategy, positioning, consumer insights, testing, commercial optimisation and operational implementation into the retailers.

The Role:

• Identify portfolio and brand innovation strategy and NPD opportunities to drive growth and meet sales targets.
• Write compelling consumers proposition that drive consumption to assist in meeting financial targets.
• Cross functional working across the Brand tea, R & D, Commercial, Manufacturing and Planning.
• Coordinate with Global markets.
• Use of analytical skills and intuition to generate consumer driven strategies.

The Responsibilities:

• A strong track record of innovation and marketing experience preferably from within an FMCG environment.
• A demonstrable track record of consumer insight lead thinking.
• Strong commercial understanding.
• Excellent project management skills.
• A can do attitude and the ability to spot opportunities.
