Established in the late 1960’s, my client is now a market leading company within the chilled food sector. With a current turnover of £400million they have grown significantly, partly due to the support from their billion dollar parent. Their product range is vast and they supply mainly into the grocery sector with own-label products. As they continue to develop their existing relationships and grow as a business they are looking to recruit a National Account Executive.

Reporting into the Commercial Manager your role as National Account Executive will be hands on. You will manage the day to day responsibilities of the companies Waitrose account. Within your role you will be responsible for maintaining a number of databases and interpreting KPI reports. Working on behalf of the Commercial Manager you will create presentations based on retailer and category performance whilst liaising with internal departments and the customer.  This is a creative environment, as our client encourages their employees to be innovative. With this in mind you need to identify opportunities for product, packaging and promotional innovation.

To be considered for this role, you will have 2 years’ experience within the food industry and be able to demonstrate a good track record of managing and developing commercial relationships. Whilst experience with the product category is not essential, you should have a good understanding of the retail market place and relevant categories. The ability to develop customer relationships is key and this is an excellent opportunity for someone ambitious who is driven to develop their career.
