Senior Category Manager

This consumer goods business is a destination employer for most people within the FMCG sector. They currently have a vacancy for a Senior Category Manager to lead one of their biggest grocery customers.

The role has arisen due to an internal move and this role is one of the biggest category manager roles on the team in terms of the value of the portfolio it looks after.

The main purpose of the role is to manage the strategic category vision for the retailer through the use of consumer and shopper insight data. You will also manage a Category Exec who will develop promotional and ranging strategies for the business.

To apply for this role you will display the following:

• Proven leadership skills - you may have managed a category exec or analyst previously
• Experience or knowledge of the UK Grocery Channel
• Strong knowledge of category management
