Have you got a strong track record for winning new business in FMCG?

My client is an exciting business with a diverse product portfolio ranging from alcoholic beverages to breakfast cereals. The company is well known in the FMCG industry for its excellence in sourcing new brands to bring to life in the UK market. Due to the company's global reach and sourcing capabilities the business is looking to expand and bring on a talented Senior Sales / Business Development Manager.

In this role your key responsibilities will include:

  • Building and maintaining customer relationships to a high standard
  • Be flexible to work across Retail, Foodservice, Wholesale and B2B channels
  • Winning new business for the company and liaising with European suppliers
  • Expand the portfolio of products through sourcing new leads and opportunities
  • Managing the whole process from costing, packaging all the way through to product launch

For this role you will need to have a proven track record for success in winning new business as well as being able to manage and establish customer relationships using your excellent relationship building skills. A background in any of the following sectors would be highly beneficial; Retail, Foodservice, Wholesale and B2B. The company need a character to come in, role their sleeves up and hit the ground running in this entrepreneurial role.

This is a very interesting project manager type role where you will be charged with running the new business aspect of the company. If you have a track record of success with brands and new business please get in touch!
