The Opportunity:
With exciting and ambitious plans for growth – organic and by acquisition, we are seeking a dynamic and entrepreneurial Commercial Manager/National Account Manager to lead, develop and grow the Tesco Account in line with company strategy.
Reporting to the Commercial Director, your key accountabilities will be:
• Develop and deliver a JBP for Tesco
• Challenge & build new ideas, developing fresh platforms for our business
• Negotiate all trading agreements in line with agreed customer performance targets
• In conjunction with Marketing Manager, develop and deliver trading and category initiatives to drive growth
• Leading cross functional teams to deliver the business plan and commercialise propositions bringing them to market
You:
Ideally you will have:
• Strong commercial and negotiation experience in a food/drink business
• Excellent relationships with Tesco
• Strong commercial awareness of other Top 4 UK Multiple Grocery retailers, brand and own label
• Strong project management skills, including taking projects and leading them through an end to end process is essential
• Strong leadership qualities with experience of leading cross functional teams
• Must demonstrate entrepreneurial spirit
• Ability to influence and lead key stakeholders
• Possess strong persuasive skills to be able to have a wide influence across the business
• Self-managing - challenge upwards to continuously improve the business and will not wait to be directed
• Excellent communication skills at all levels
