Procurement Manager | Fixed term contract | Fresh Produce

We are working with a leading supplier into the retail market, and they are looking for a procurement / buying manager on a fixed term contract, reporting into the procurement director.

The role



As buyer / procurement manager you will be agreeing volumes, weekly programmes and pricing with fresh produce suppliers
Liaison with sales term on volume required for customers
Managing logistics from source countries to arrival into the UK
Monitoring quality reports, stock rotation and pack house charges
Preparing supplier returns

The candidate

Spanish speaking would be preferred but isn't essential
Fresh produce buying experience within a similar role
Good IT skills
Flexible approach to work
Ability to manage your time, and multi task
Excellent written and communication skills
Good eye for detail
