My client are a leading food operation with a current turnover in excess of £850m worldwide. They specialise in frozen and chilled food products, supplying the major food manufactures and exporting across globe. As a business they have grown significantly over the last decade due to their careful and strategic planning, long term relationships and profit driven culture. Their innovative nature has lead them to develop an exciting new product range in a new category which is about to be launched to market. Due to this, they are looking to add a National Account Controller to their team to lead this brand new business unit.

As National Account Controller, you will be responsible for launching a brand new range of products into the top 4 retailers where strong interest has already been generated. You will be expected to act a General Manager for the business unit by being extremely hands on and getting involved in all aspects of the product launch including logistics, NPD and supply chain. As the category grows you will build a team around you and continue to grow the category with NPD launches and developing new brands. This is a rare and exceptional opportunity to have full autonomy on a new project with the support of a globally recognized organisation.

To be considered for this opportunity, you must be at National Account Controller level with strong relationships with the UK retailers. A mixture of brand and private label experience is preferred however either would be considered. You must have a hands on attitude, be prepared to get fully involved in all aspect of a business and have experience of leading a team.
