Business Unit Controller - Major Retailers.

Our client is a food manufacturer with a terrific reputation in the industry. The business manufacturers some of the UK's most loved brands. The business is fast becoming a leader in their category and through exciting product innovation they are growing at an impressive rate.

The business supplies the UK's major retailers and they are looking to recruit some new talent for their commercial team.

The Role

Business Unit Controller - Top 4 Retailers. 

•    To manage the P&L of the 2 top 4 retail accounts to deliver budgeted volume, revenue and profit 
•    Working cross functionally to drive the customer strategic agenda internally and externally 
•    Managing the team to meet/exceed key KPIs
•    Report to the Board and Sales Director periodic updates on performance and progress
•    Manage customer growth agenda internally working cross functionally with Category, Revenue Management, Marketing etc
•    Manage relationship with customer top to bottom via Category Director and Senior Buyer across both the core branded business and own label business
•    Build new relationships with key contacts to maximise new business opportunities
•    Develop the company’s customer business into new areas within Europe and Asia.
•    Management and development of a team to drive the overarching customer and the company's strategy

The Candidate

•    Branded Food or FMCG background.
•    SNAM – Controller level with man management experience. 
•    Top 4 retail account management experience.
