This well established womens-wear brand is seeking two dynamic and driven individuals with responsibility for New Business Development and maintenance of a well-established customer base.

This is a fantastic opportunity for highly motivated and ambitious sales personnel who have the drive and dedication to build a business.

Primary Objectives

  • To support the Company in the delivery of our Wholesale Business in line with agreed timeframes and budgets
  • To increase sales and profitability 
  • Promote our brand to a wider audience, thus increasing Sales and visibility
  • Develop New Business, support current customers and nurture long term prospects 
  • To work to build New sustainable business in line with Objectives & KPI’s 

Main Tasks and Key Areas of Work

  • Implement and manage an overall Sales strategy 
  • Establish strong relationships with the current customer base and ensure that they receive first class service and develop with them a sustainable mutually beneficial Business model
  • To identify opportunities and proactively develop New business 
  • Ensure effective communication at all levels, internally and externally, and continuously guarantee all information is provided to customers in a timely, accurate and appropriate manner
  • Re-engage with previous customers and restore our brand values
  • To be prepared to travel with an average of two/three days away during the main selling seasons
  • Be able to plan own diary and be self-motivated

  • Sales targets achieved if not exceeded

WORK RELATED EXPERIENCE/SKILLS

  • Experience working in a sales role (minimum 2 years)
  • A proven track record of contacting potential customers and generating New business
  • Very well-organised with the ability to manage own diary and achieve KPI’s
  • Strong numeracy and analytical skills with experience in the use of target marketing and segmentation. 
  • A good understanding of our brand values and guidelines as well as tone of voice/style.
  • Ability to prioritise work schedule to ensure managers and colleagues’ requirements are met.
  • Computer literacy – confident in Excel, Word.
  • Manage time constraints effectively
  • Responsibility for planning, lead times, feedback and deadlines.

  • Able to provide support to UK Sales Manager and the Managing Director

SPECIAL WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Prepared to stay away 2-3 nights per week during the main selling season
  • Evenings and weekends on odd occasions.
  • Valid UK driving licence.
