Their UK business has already doubled in size and is now looking to expand the National Accounts team with the appointment of a proactive Account Executive capable of supporting growing relationships and developing their profile with the top 4 retailers. 2016 with be a pivotal year in the company’s growth plans, including further investment across the sales, category and marketing functions. If you are self-starting professional that is highly driven then this business would be an excellent next move.
The role
- The effective support and development of existing grocery relationships and direct account management of 2nd tier grocery customers.
- Winning new business within major accounts.
- Effective team work within the Grocery and convenience sales team
- Delivery of defined commercial targets
- Effective range portfolio management to optimise UK business plan
- Effective liaison with colleagues in group across all functions of the business
- Effective development and exploitation of wider networks within each customer - i.e. supply chain, store opps, trade marketing etc.
- Effective utilisation of KAD data within all selling and negotiations
Experience:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience of the UK Grocery customers
- Must have experience of effective customer negotiation and supply
- Have the potential to be ready to handle your own top 4 account within 18 months
- Must understand and get brands
- Must have experience of JBP management
- Be self-starting, motivated and hungry for success.
- Have excellent communication skill
- Have strong numeracy skills
