My client is a £400million turnover consumer electronics business who are one of the leading European manufacturers. They operate across both white and brown goods for consumer and B2B customers and are home to a number of recognised and own label brands. Established for over 40 years they have shown continuous increases in their productivity capacity, export activity and market share. Due to recent successes they are now looking to add to their team an ambitious and driven Key Account Manager.

As Key Account Manager you will be responsible for managing the OEM category into a selection of well-known multiple retailers. You will create and implement sales plans and budgets for each customer to facilitate profitable growth as well as negotiating and agreeing contract terms taking the lead role in new account set up processes. As part of this role you will also be responsible for keeping up to date with market developments, competitor activities and product innovations ensuring that you are the favoured choice over other suppliers. This is an autonomous role for an experienced account manager to be part of an already successful category.

To be considered for this fantastic position you must be able to demonstrate success in an account management role within consumer electronics. Although OEM experience is not essential it would be ideal if you had a good knowledge of how that category operates. Essential is experience working with multiple retailers and understanding their processes. You will also be personable and driven and able to demonstrate excellent communication and negotiation skills.
