Brand Marketing Manager - FMCG Food

This truly is an exciting new role working for a diverse business which holds customer satisfaction at their heart.  The business work within the health sector and have recently diversified into food manufacturing to add to their already interesting portfolio.  Due to the expansion of the business and brand extension, we are now recruiting for a Brand marketing manager to join a new team and support the Marketing Controller further.

The role

You will report into the Marketing Controller and work alongside a Product Manager having regular contact cross functionally across PR, Manufacturing sites, NPD managers and other functions in the business.  Whilst this is a Multi-million t/o business, this role is fast paced, entrepreneurial and ‘hands on’ in nature and needs someone who has the ability to think for themselves, yet work as part of a team.

The business launched 9 new food products products in February 2015 and are currently selling £1.2m / week, the range is set to expand moving forwards and this position will be fundamental to this happening.

You will be involved with implementing brand plans for the current range, identifying current market trends and advising the business on potential opportunities, working with packaging teams, and in close liaison with internal PR managers to ensure an aligned message is communicated across the business to consumers, dealing with customer enquiries and liaison with manufacturing sites to ensure critical paths are met

The Person

• You need to have FMCG food experience
• Project management
• Has experience of marketing communications – digital media / PR etc

We are looking for someone who is commutable to the Head office in the North Nottinghamshire area, but can be geographically mobile and able to go to travel to the North West and London for meetings
