Our client is a highly successful manufacturer of convenience foods based in the West Midlands, supplying a variety of different products into the grocery channel. Their team invest months of development work in order to create unique, up-and-coming products and experiment with a number of flavours. As a fairly small and intimate business, the success of the company has been derived from the drive and ambition of employees within the organisation.
As an extremely innovative company keen to generate new business, this role will play an integral part in developing new business within the company. Key responsibilities include growing existing business, identifying new accounts and forecasting, as well as managing a portfolio of retail accounts. Our client is looking for a dynamic, ambitious and enthusiastic new member in their team who is keen to excel within account management. They are looking for someone who has previously worked for a larger, recognisable brand as a National Account Manager - convenience and retail experience is essential. It is also beneficial to understand the nature of a small company environment as well as a bigger company, in order to build effective relationships with both new and existing clients. Within the role, communication is key and our client is looking for someone with customer-facing experience within the FMCG sector.
