A global leader in the FMCG sector are looking for a talented, enthusiastic National Account Executive to join their team in Maidenhead.

Description

The primary purpose of the National Account Executive is to manage and develop existing customer accounts by identifying and closing good business opportunities.

This will be achieved by:

* Internal Business Planning - manage the internal processes including forecasting, promotional planning and reporting to ensure an accurate representation to internal parties of the performance of the account.
* Negotiation of NPD listings & distribution extensions for existing products - to drive sales and profitably grow the business.
* Category & Market Awareness - Using all information sources available monitor customer & market price, promotion and ranging activity
* Promotional Evaluation - Pre & Post activity analysis using EPOS / customer data and the PPM system to monitor promo effectiveness (including profitability) and take remedial action where necessary.
* Customer Management - writing, negotiating and implementing customer Joint Business Plans. Monitoring, ensuring compliance and implementing remedial actions where appropriate.
* Customer Relationship Management - Manage the business relationship at relevant levels across all functions to ensure business growth and development.

Profile

The ideal National Account Executive will be:

* Graduate level preferred but exceptional persons qualified to A-Level/GSCE considered
* PC literate, with good working knowledge of Word, E mail and the Internet Advanced Microsoft Excel & Powerpoint user
* Strong presentation & communication skills
* Good organisational skills
* Basic influencing skills
* Team player
* Excellent attention to detail
* Self motivated
* Commercially aware & numerically agile
* Potential for development to NAM/SNAM etc.

Job Offer

£26,000 to £28,000 + 7% to 14% bonus + company car + pension with employee contribution of 5% and employer of 10%.

My client will provide you will the tools to push towards a Junior NAM role within 12 - 18 months and offer excellent training plus important account responsibilities at a head office level. You will have buyer interaction and you will be encourage to progress as quickly as possible.
