Package:

Daily rate between £350-400, alternatively a fixed term contract is available for either a period of 3 or 6 months with annualised salary

Introduction:

My FMCG client is well known in their field and experiencing a large amount of growth which has been consistent over a number of years, and therefore looking to recruit a Commercial Development Manager on an interim basis.

Based in the South East/ London area, my FMCG client is an exciting, expanding, entrepreneurial business who offer a huge amount of long term development opportunities.  They operate an autonomous working environment and move at pace.  With a portfolio of creative and exciting Brands, they operate across the globe and presently experiencing a huge amount of success.

The Role:

The role of the Commercial Development Manager will be to concentrate solely on the Strategic Brands and ensure they are given the correct level of business focus and that their continued growth aspirations and on-going success are met and exceeded.

The Commercial Development Manager will support the VP in being the champion of the Strategic Brands and deliver business development initiatives on an international scale across EMEA, based on a set of clear objectives.

  • Champion the Strategic Brands across EMEA
  • Develop a commercial annual plan (Operation Execution) as well as the tactics (Missions) to deliver the plan across EMEA and tools to track and measure.
  • For their designated geographical or brand focus, ensures that the EMEA Strategic Brand business is fully aligned and understands Operation Execution and the Missions.
  • Identifies and implements pricing and promotional strategies across EMEA to maximise brand growth and meet our commercial objectives.

The Candidate:

Successful candidates will be able to start immediately or with one weeks notice, and hold FMCG/ Consumer Goods experience and have already undertaken a similar role.  You will be able to demonstrate previous success at:

  • Building and executing plans for new market launches across EMEA
  • Tracking Brand performance against commercial objectives
  • Ensuring Brands have a clear vision and commercial platform for sustained growth
  • Executing commercial strategies that will drive and deliver Brand vision to market

You will also be able to demonstrate operating at pace, able to make an impact on an organisation quickly. You will ideally understand and know how to work with distribution partners, in a hands on, Commercial role.  Expertise to execute is essential.
