Job Details

We are Mahou San Miguel; the leading and international brewer in Spain.  

We produce 75% of Spanish beer consumed worldwide.  

Significant acquisitions over the past 10 years have seen the company consolidate the Spanish beer market and now we are embarking on a truly enterprising international journey to exploit and fulfil consumer excitement for quality premium Spanish beer the world over.  

To raise even more profile for the brands, here in the UK Mahou San Miguel have created a new position to unlock the Prestige On-Trade universe, specifically within the National and Regional brewer estates.  

The objectives are simple; build new distribution, initiate high visibility and POS to activate impactful consumer demand focussing on premiumisation.  

The roles will work alongside the Carlsberg account team with sales and budget responsibility for optimising high end outlet Distribution for the Mahou and Alhambra flagship brands.

Reporting to the International Area Director, this role will have high levels of autonomy, and you must have the mind-set to make things happen.  

You will already have 3 – 5 years sales experience in Drinks, an understanding of the On-Trade channel, ideally some exposure to Freetrade or National /Regional Brewers and their venues in London.  

You must be able to demonstrate a discerning approach, a confident professional style and entrepreneurial flair.  

Your personal credibility and emotional intelligence to flex your style with a wide variety of customers will be critical to your success.    

A consuming passion for the Drinks business and a love for all things Spanish will be a massive advantage.
