An exciting opportunity has arisen within a fast growing, entrepreneurial drinks business. They are an innovative company with a huge focus on nutrition and health and have been first to market in their category with a number of products. They have a great level of staff retention and have been going from strength to strength gaining large amounts of visibility in some of the UK’s largest retail accounts. Due to their recent successes they are now in a position to recruit a new National Account Manager to take over a portfolio of existing accounts as well as develop new business in the Foodservice, Cash and Carry and Convenience channels.

As National Account Manager you will be tasked with taking over one or two of the company’s existing national accounts. You will take over the P&L for the accounts you manage with full support from the sales and marketing team and your responsibilities will include liaising with buyers at head office level, putting together the joint business plans for your customers and developing the accounts profitability through bespoke promotional activity and the launch of new product ranges. New business development will also be a huge part of the role and you will be tasked with opening up new accounts with Foodservice, Cash and Carry and Convenience customers.

To be considered for this opportunity you will need to be at National Account Management level within a branded food or drink business. People with specific experience working in the Foodservice, Wholesale and Convenience channels will be preferred but standout applicants from other channel backgrounds will also be considered. They are looking for a hungry, up and coming National Account Manager with the ambition to take on a bigger challenge with higher levels of responsibility and autonomy. It is also essential that you enjoy the hunt of developing new business as this is an integral part of the role.
