We're looking for Category Development Executive to join the Nestlé Waters team, the Category Executive role is based at the Nestlé Waters UK HQ in Rickmansworth. You will be rewarded with a base salary of £22K-£26K, plus bonus scheme, but more importantly, you'll be working with a range of products that will inspire you.

Our Opportunity

The Category Executive role will be providing visibility internal & external, across departments through data analysis from different sources, and supporting the Category team with the development and execution of the main responsibilities across the Grocery & Out of Home channels, in order to achieve overall business objectives.

As Category Executive you will be responsible for assisting in all areas of the key accountabilities across the shopper, category and channel strategies with the main focus on supporting the team to successfully execute our plans.

Key aspects of the Category Executive role include:

• Manage the internal reporting and communication to the business for NWUK performance within the market and category.
• Support the key category relationships by managing the space merchandising strategy to support the range review process
• Implement recommendations on shelving, assortment and merchandising strategies.
• Support the team by providing objective and unbiased insights on the consumer, shopper, category, competition and market.
• To support the development of channel & customer category plans
• Support the team to collaborate with the Marketing & Sales teams to ensure effective in-store & online shopper marketing activity
• Support the team to develop retail channel plans as part of the NWUK Integrated Commercial Planning Process

You

We’re looking for someone with a varied and strong skill-set & to be educated to degree level or the equivalent. You’ll be an excellent communicator both verbally and in writing, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with your colleagues across Nestlé and with external stakeholders. Your analytical, verbal and numerical skills will be well-rounded, and you’ll be happy to deal with queries quickly and efficiently, whilst being focused on effective problem-solving and team collaboration. If you have working experience of IRI or Kantar it would be a bonus. You will also be results focussed and systems orientated with a positive can do approach, and on top of this be a self-starter, driven with a desire for career progression.

It’s likely that you have Category or Sales experience, backed up by superb analytical and numeracy skills, be well-organised and have a sound knowledge of Excel and Power Point with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
