Superb opportunity to join a Tier 1 employer of choice, sitting within their Financial arm based in Canary Wharf, London. The primary purpose of the role is to drive retention as well as to identify growth opportunities in an assigned portfolio of clients. The Client Specialist will build strong relationships with existing clientele and manage the implementation and usage of a host of products.

Description

The successful Client Specialist achieves high client retention rates, high levels of customer satisfaction and product usage, and frequently identifies growth opportunities.

The Client Specialist is responsible for retaining a portfolio of clients in the Fixed Income and Foreign Exchange markets. This is achieved by successfully:
  • Building "trusted advisor" relationships with clients
  • Monitoring and driving product usage within client portfolio by pro-actively offering advice, hints and tips as well as training sessions on the client's products
  • Growing the community of clients using collaboration tools
  • Delivering quarterly campaigns and achieving high levels of quality client engagements
  • Creating and maintaining accurate contact and activity records in the CRM system
  • Collecting, analysing and sharing customer feedback with colleagues in the sales team and with product development
  • Identifying growth opportunities by generating sales leads
  • Working closely with colleagues in the account team to deliver joined up service to the clients
  • Continuously building personal knowledge and maintaining high levels of specialisation in the financial markets, products and customer workflows.
  • Completing required certification programs


Profile

The ideal candidate will ideally have anything from 18 months - 3 years financial services account management / sales experience. The successful candidate will have, or from a foundation level, be able to quickly develop specialist level knowledge in the following areas:
  • Fixed Income or Equities markets - understanding of the trading floor environment
  • Ability and expertise as a broker, or selling to the brokering sectors
  • Excellent financial services / or business information terminal knowledge e.g. Bloomberg terminal or equivalent to
  • Strong MS Excel knowledge
  • Highly PC literate

Required experience and qualifications
  • Experience in the financial markets experience in serving the financial markets
  • University level degree
  • CFA or other industry recognised qualification is a plus but not 100% required


Job Offer

£30-40,000 Base Salary dependant on level of experience

Realistic first-year bonuses between £8,000 - 12,000 on top
