This is a 15 month contract and an excellent opportunity for some one with a passion for wine to work with a company specialising in wine. They are recognised within their industry and are looking for a Key Account Manager to manage and nurture an existing account base across the on-trade sector.

Description

Reporting into the Regional Sales Manager the Key Account Manager will be responsible for a portfolio of existing accounts across the on-trade sector, this can be anyone from food led pubs and clubs, restaurants to catering companies. You will need to maintain and grow this account base, act as the main point of contact and ensure the highest level of customer service is delivered at all times in order to build strong relationships.

As a Key Account Manager you will be covering regions in East Anglia, negotiating new listings, conducting wine tasting evenings and wine reviews for your existing customer base. Through this you will be expected to manage and achieve yearly budgets.

Profile
  • Experience within the on-trade sector is desirable
  • Passion for a wine is a must
  • Strong persuasive and negotiation skills with the ability to build rapport and develop working relationships
  • Driven and self motivated
  • Commercial and strategically minded
  • Based in East Anglia with an in-depth knowledge of the territory covered
  • Full, clean driving licence
  • WSET level 2 or 3 would be an advantage but is not essential
