Home Based with regular access to the Head Office in the South East

My client is an entrepreneurial, fast moving and innovative business supplying quality products across a number of categories within consumer electronics. The business was established over 50 years ago and now supplies 55 countries around the world. They have enjoyed excellent results in recent years, having doubled profits year on year. The businesses innovative nature has led to a number of exciting new products coming to market and this has helped drive the businesses impressive growth. The product divisions which my client is most well-known for are tablets, mobile phones, home and pet monitoring and baby monitors. The business has enjoyed fantastic success in recent years with its baby monitoring products, an area where the business has established its brand as clear market leader both in the UK and globally. An exciting new opportunity has arisen for a Business Development Manager to join the company and help them to launch and grow a new brand.

As Business Development Manager you will be responsible for launching and growing the new brand product range to the UK market. You will pro-actively target key players within various channels which you will work strategically with to develop business plans and work closely with marketing, store design and merchandising. You will also be involved with the forecasting the production, shipment and delivery of the products. This is a very exciting position which offers a lot of responsibility and autonomy in a rewarding company where you can develop your career.

To be considered for this excellent opportunity you must have a proven track record of success within a sales environment ideally with experience of B2B, high street, e-tail and grocer accounts. Consumer Electronics experience is essential and mobile phone market experience would be a distinctive advantage; however candidates that fit the other criteria and have a passion and interest in technology are also of interest. You will be a fast paced, enthusiastic and hungry sales person who has the ambition to grow your career within a business that can match your ambition. You will be able to work autonomously and be a self-motivated, driven and personable team player.
