The successful & sustainable growth of our Mattessons Brand means we are now seeking to appoint a talented Brand Manager to join our Team. Are you ready for an exciting new challenge?

THE BRAND & ROLE:

 Mattessons is a brand that has embraced the pioneering spirit of our founder Richard Mattes' and has grown Fridge Raiders to a £47m brand at RSV within 10 years of launch.
 As the number 1 Meat Snack in an exciting, emerging and growing Category, we are leading & driving the Category, outperforming the Category & our main competitor Peperami at +25% YOY (Value Sales, YOY growth**).
 With this level of momentum & strategic focus it's a really exciting time to be joining the brand.
 In this BM role you will have P&L responsibility for key areas within the Mattessons portfolio (worth £30m RSV), an opportunity to shape the future brand strategy & lead creatively disruptive Consumer Campaigns (which are winning Awards & gaining a strong reputation amongst the Creative & Agency community).
 What's more you will also have the opportunity to shape, build & deliver our innovation pipeline as the brand enters its next phase of growth.
 There's a significant ATL budget available along with world-class Agency Partners and as we have no "global interference" all the decisions are made locally.
 You will be a key member of the Team that takes the Mattessons brand into it's next chapter of growth.

REQUIREMENTS:

The successful Brand Manager will be:

o Either an experienced, talented ABM looking for the next step-up in their career or a current Brand Manager looking for an exciting new Challenge.
o Classically FMCG trained with strong commercial acumen. Inquisitive about diagnosing brand performance and demonstrates solid understanding & interpretation of market data.
o Passionate about the consumer & putting consumer insight at the heart of everything we do to generate business value.
o Analytical & sharp. Able to simplify complex problems & creatively problem solve.
o Great at building relationships & demonstrate strong cross-functional leadership skills
o A 'can do', positive person with ambition, drive & determination to succeed.
