Your new company
This well-know high street retailer has a loyal customer base due to their commitment to quality and value. Continually looking for ways to remain at the forefront of grocery retailing, they are about to embark on the next exciting phase of their growth. As part of this growth a Process Manager in the Own Brand (Private Label) Food team is needed for the Head Office of the business, initially on a 12 month interim basis

Your new role
You will co-ordinate and plan all own brand (private label) development activity agreeing range strategy with the Buying team, managing the NPD and packaging process and guiding the labelling / legislation with the relevant stakeholders in their teams. You will also oversee the efficient running of the tasting centre, all of which will lead to development of market-leading own brand products

What you will need to succeed
You will have experience in a fast paced retail own brand environment and where you will have developed a first class understanding of New Product Development (NPD), product labelling and the associated legislation as well as Taste Centre operations. You will also be required to strategically lead a large team via 3 - 4 direct reports, thus you will be an inspirational manager and motivational leader.

What you will get in return
You will be offered a salary between £60-70,000 (dep. on experience) plus a very generous benefits package that includes healthcare and pension. Whilst the position will be initially available on an interim basis, the business is going through and exciting period of growth and thus there is a strong possibility of this being extended or made permanent
