Business Manager – Grocery Top 4

My client are a leading supplier of chilled prepared food products to the retail sector and branded suppliers. Their core product range is innovative, high quality and NPD lead which has contributed to their success and growth and has also won them an array of awards. As a business, they turnover in excess of £45m and have ambitious plans over the coming years to increase this figure. They are now looking to add a Business Manager to their team.

As Business Manager, you will be expected to:

Develop strategies for product areas within the portfolio.  These initiatives should support the business vision and deliver the site commercial strategy.
Build and maintain positive relationships with key client contacts.  Become a recognised expert in our key markets.
Build and maintain strong internal relationships.  Influence Operational, Procurement and Technical colleagues to support initiatives to improve product margins.
Develop and maintain commercial data systems to provide accurate and timely commercial data to the business.
Drive site NPD for non-retail customers through delivering profitable sales growth.

To be considered for this exciting opportunity, it is essential you have a proven track record of growing sales with the retail channel, in an FMCG food manufacturing environment. You must have a strong knowledge of the market place and be a strong, results focused leader.
