In 1970 it came over to the UK and as part of the prestigious Redken NYC Sales Team, you will work in partnership with salon accounts to ensure the development of the salon's business through the use and sale of highly innovative and effective products. This is more than just a sales role; it requires a solid understanding of business and provides a real opportunity to make your mark in a vibrant and exciting industry!

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

As part of the Redken Pureology and Mizani Sales Team, you will work in partnership with salon accounts to ensure the development of the salon's business through the use and sale of highly innovative and effective products.

PURPOSE OF YOUR NEW ROLE

You will manage an account base of existing and competitor salons, building long term relationships and executing the commercial plans of the Division in order to achieve and exceed defined revenue, growth, promotional and distribution objectives.

YOUR KEY JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Work to a structured, logical journey plan, ensuring that all existing and prospect customers are visited on a monthly basis
  • Establish and implement business and education plans with top accounts - work closely with Educator
  • Actively communicate and sell education and events
  • Achieve targets set by Regional Manager
  • Win new business
  • Implement promotional and marketing activity designed to generate sales growth and meet brand objectives
  • Conduct in salon retail education
  • Identify opportunities for increasing business
  • Respond quickly and effectively to customer requests
  • Ensure customer files are maintained. Complete all required administration in a timely and accurate manner
  • Accurately enter orders onto system
  • Maintain an up to date knowledge of the market and customers to ensure effective market intelligence
  • Network with colleagues across the Professional Products Division to share best practice

 


THE NETWORK YOU WORK WITH

You will build strong relationships with salons and hairdressers on the area, maintaining a close relationship with existing salons and creating a partnership with conquest salons. You will have close contact with fellow members of your team and your Regional Manager. You will also work closely with your Educator and have contact with employees from the other Professional Products brands on your territory.

POTENTIAL NEXT STEPS FOLLOWING THIS ROLE

We would expect the successful candidate to hold this role for at least 2 years. Next steps could include a more senior commercial role and with a company as big as ours there is plenty of room for clear and structured progression.
