Retail Account Manager

An account management opportunity at one of the leading market research providers in the world has opened. We offer competitive market research and intelligence to our customers and many of the world's largest companies. Helping businesses track industry trends and understand their customers in order to get the right products in the right places for the right people at the right prices. We serve more than a dozen industries including consumer sports, Beauty Selective, foodservice, toys, video games, and more.

This position holds the opportunity to join the European Retail team in the UK managing your own portfolio of clients. You will be providing value-added insights and driving revenue within your accounts.
The key responsibilities for this role are:
*Providing added and actionable insights regarding the retailers' most important business issues/needs.
*Preparing and delivering impactful and engaging presentations
*Building strategic relationships with the portfolio of retailers you manage.
*Developing a keen understanding of their organization/strategies and use this knowledge to create new business opportunities
*Identifying new revenue streams within the portfolio of retailers and develop approaches to expand and enhance the product and service offerings to meet their needs and fill gaps.

What are we looking for in a successful applicant?
*You have an educational background in Business or Marketing, and at least 5 years' experience with 2 years of experience within the trade industry. You have a solid knowledge of Point-of-Sales panel
*Driven, results oriented, you are eager to take up a commercial challenge
*You have strong written and verbal communication skills.
*You demonstrate the ability to weave together diverse data sets into succinct, cohesive and impactful stories.
*You are able to work and interface with European teams in a matrix organization; you have the ability to network in the professional and industry environment.
