Brand Manager - Consumer Care - Nestlé Health Science

An exciting vacancy has arisen for a Brand Manager to join the team in Gatwick, reporting into the Head of Consumer Care, you will be responsible for managing the marketing for an OTC product, Meritene.

Our Opportunity

As Brand Manager – Consumer Care, you will support the development of the Consumer Care brands in conjunction with the Head of Consumer Care and indirectly Commercial Manager Europe, and to execute and to optimise the marketing mix (product, place, price, promotion) in the market by creating positive brand experiences and leading the channel development in both pharmacy and retail.

Key responsibilities of the Brand Manager role are:

  • To develop detailed marketing plans (product, price, place and promotion), including communication, digital, media plans and list price, Total Trade Spend.
  • Leads cross-functional teams to drive alignment and flawless execution of strategic plans and tactical demand generation activities - including sales, regulatory affairs, operations, in order to implement the marketing plans, including Monthly Sales Review and execution of Innovation & Renovation pipeline.
  • In conjunction with Sales lead, engage with customers (eg, wholesalers, pharmacies, retailers) to build and develop the relevant channel and achieve optimum distribution levels and the right brand visibility in the point of sale.
  • Build trusted relationships with Key Opinion Leaders to gain credibility behind the OTC and OTX portfolio and endorsement of NHSc's presence in the Consumer Healthcare space

You

We’re looking for someone with Brand Management/Marketing experience from a Pharma or OTC background, who may or may not be educated to degree level or the equivalent. You will be able to demonstrate your experience of launching a brand. For the Brand Manager you’ll be an excellent communicator both verbally and in writing, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with your colleagues across Nestlé. Your marketing skills will be well-rounded, and you’ll ideally have exposure and experience of understanding needs of the patients and pharmacies both from an OTC & OTX perspective. You will be results focussed and systems orientated with a positive can do approach, as well as having a strong desire to progress and take on more responsibility.

For the Brand Manager you’ll have superb analytical skills, and be numerate – previous experience of managing budgets and tracking spend would be a distinct advantage. You must be well-organised and have a sound knowledge of Excel and Power Point.

Nestlé has a strong benefits package which includes, for this Brand Manager role £45K-£50K basic salary, car allowance, a competitive pension, up to 12% bonus and 25 days holiday with an additional 12 days flex.
