The Chancellor Tobacco Company (UK) LTD is looking for skilled Area Sales Representatives nationwide with tobacco sales experience to launch our brands into wholesale and retail outlets across the UK.
Area Sales Representative Job Duties:
- Services accounts, obtains orders, and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets and other trade factors.
- Focuses sales efforts by studying existing and potential volume of dealers.
- Uses CRM systems for daily sales activities and keeping customer records.
- Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses.
- Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc.
- Supports new product introduction, supports new retailers.
- Recommends changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments.
- Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports; making recommendations to management.
- Provides historical records by maintaining records on area and customer sales.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Skills/Qualifications: Customer Service, Meeting Sales Goals, Closing Skills, Territory Management, Prospecting Skills, Negotiation, Self-Confidence, Product Knowledge, Presentation Skills, Client Relationships, Motivation for Sales.
Experience Required:
- Must have Tobacco Sales Experience.
- Be competent in using CRM systems.
- Possess excellent communication skills.
- Be experienced in working under pressure and meeting deadlines.
- Will be directly responsible to the Sales Manager.
Salary £22,000-26,000 per annum + bonus + company car + fuel card + mobile phone + Ipad + 28 days holidays (total including bank holidays).
All successful candidates must hold must hold a full, clean UK driving licence.
